Athletics Program

“The will to win, the desire to succeed
the urge to reach your full potential…
the are the keys that will unlock the
door to personal excellence.”

Confucius

The rewards of participation in team-based athletics are immediate for Yeshiva High Tech
student-athletes who are taught that collaboration, sportsmanship, and perseverance are the hallmarks of both athletic and academic success.

At Yeshiva High Tech, we are committed to developing well-rounded, fully engaged student-athletes who are committed to both personal and team excellences. Our athletic program strives to assist our young people in achieving their personal and academic goals while growing into healthy, happy, and productive young adults. We encourage our students to work hard, play hard, and have fun while coming together to reach our full potential as a team.

We are dedicated to providing opportunities which will enhance the intellectual, physical, social, moral and cultural development of the whole person, while conducting all activities with honesty and integrity in accordance with the principles of good sportsmanship and ethical conduct.

Athletics play an important role in creating a sense of pride and community at Yeshiva High Tech. It is important to remember that the student-athletes are playing games intended to be challenging and fun. Although the student-athlete commits a lot of themselves and their abilities into preparing for and competing in athletics, both the athlete and spectator must not allow emotion to rule one’s behavior. Sportsmanship demands respect for one’s opponents and officials, acceptance of victory with humility, and acknowledgement of defeat with grace. In teaching these lessons to all students, Yeshiva High Tech instills habits that will lead students to better and healthier lives.
